Starting in November, the Lorain County Fitness Walks will move inside Splash Zone! The indoor walking track will be available for Fitness Walkers – Splash Zone membership is not needed to walk!

Lorain County Fitness Walks is a free weekly walking group open to all ages, meeting every Monday starting at 5:30 pm, at the Oberlin Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone facilities. Let’s get together and walk!

Fitness Walks are at the Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone facilities, located at 95 West Hamilton Rd., Oberlin, Ohio 44074. Each walker will receive a bottle of water and register for a chance to win prizes for participating. First time walkers will get a free pedometer at registration. Discuss health topics with the featured speaker of the week then walk with WOBL/WDLW on-air personalities for 30-minutes, while enjoying time outdoors and getting to know fellow walkers. Indoor walking is available in case of poor weather. Join a walk whenever you have time in your schedule, a weekly commitment is not necessary.
