Critter Chronicles: Mac

MAC

Mac was born Jan. 1. He was raised on a golf course and trained to chase geese off the course. He is very well trained and extremely smart. Unfortunately, Mac has a hereditary bone issue called Osteochondritis Dissecansand requires surgery to fix. The surgery is approximately $3,000 and the golf course could not raise enough money. They turned Mac over to our rescue so he could have a chance to have the surgery and find a home. Mac will have his surgery and 6 to 8 weeks after he will be ready to go home. We are looking for a Border Collie savvy home and a home where Mac can be a working dog … Mac needs a purpose in his life. A farm, another golf course, an agility home, etc. Mac is good with other dogs, cats, adults and kids. He is cratetrained and trained not to bark. He is off-leash trained, too.
