Dolores Jean Linkous, 79, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, November 1, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She was born October 5, 1933, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and had been a Lorain County resident for the past 38 years.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and was a loving fan of Elvis Presley.
She is survived by five children, Gloria (Mark) Wright of Bowie Maryland, Christine (Fred) Higdon of Lorain, Tammy Boord of Lorain, Edgar (Nora) Boord of Lorain and Patty (Kenny) Gumm of Lorain; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Dolores was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret (Boord) Mazak; her parents, Stephen and Esther (nee Redman) Kelley; three sisters; and a brother.
Friends may call on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 10 A.M., until time of service at 12 P.M., at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain 44052. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.
