Patricia Jane Robenolt (nee Saturley), 78, of Elyria passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Keystone Pointe Health and Rehabilitation, having lived many years with Alzheimer’s. Pat was born January 31, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a 1952 graduate of Perry High School in Pittsburgh.
Pat moved to Ohio in 1962. She was a homemaker who enjoyed volleyball, tennis, bowling, and playing bridge. She was involved in Prospect School PTA and the Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband after his retirement from the FAA in Oberlin.
Survivors include her son, Steve Robenolt (Chris) of Columbus; a daughter, Patti Barr (Greg) of Elyria; and son, Scott Robenolt (Debra) of Oberlin. She was affectionately known as “Gammy” to eight grandchildren, Eric, Matt, Michael, and Alex Robenolt, Valerie and Kara Barr, Jessica and Abby Robenolt. She is also survived by a brother, Fred Saturley of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, S. Wayne Robenolt in 1991; and son, Brian Robenolt in 1989; her parents, Herbert S. and Margaret (nee Lowe) Saturley; and brothers, Herbert Saturley, Jr., and Kenneth Saturley; and sisters, Betty Mall and Lois McCombs.
Memorial services will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, November 10, 2012, at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440) 322-4626, where the family will receive friends from 11 A.M., until time of services. Pastor Ken Tucker will officiate. Burial will be private at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
