Myrtle A. Malley

Myrtle A. Malley (nee Thiemke), 87, of Coshocton, County, formerly of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at her daughters residence in Warsaw, Ohio. Mrs. Malley was born February 3, 1925 in Cleveland. She moved to Coshocton County in 2008 to live with her daughter. Prior to moving to Coshocton County, she had resided in Elyria and North Ridgeville for many years.

Mrs. Malley retired from the R.W. Beckett Company in North Ridgeville in 1987 where she had been an assembler for 14 years. She was an active member for many years of First Baptist Church of Elyria where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and worked with the AWANA ministry. After moving to Coshocton County, she attended both the Warsaw United Methodist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Coshocton. Mrs. Malley loved to travel and twice she was thrilled to be able to travel to the Holy Land. She also enjoyed being involved in church activities and spending time with her family and many friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Atsberger of Elyria, Peggy Pyle (Stanley) of Ash Grove, Missouri and Marcia Loper (John) of Warsaw; one son, James Malley of England; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and by one sister, Shirley Coates (Ron) of Brunswick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Myrtle Thiemke; one brother, Donald Thiemke and by an infant daughter, Pamela Malley.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road at Stoney Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 11400 LaGrange Road, Elyria. Pastor Patrick Odle of First Baptist Church and Pastor Cal Searles from Calvary Baptist Church in Coshocton, will co-officiate. Burial will be private at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the ministry of the donors choice.
