Rose E. Pluta, (nee Dritto), 67, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at her home, following a one year illness. She was born December 11, 1944, in Youngstown, and was a lifelong Lorain/LaGrange area resident.
Rose worked at Parker Hannifin-Airborne Division in Elyria, as a machine operator for 33 years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Elyria United Polish Club Auxiliary, the Elyria Eagles Club Auxiliary, Elyria AMVETS Post 32, American Legion Post 8 in Wellington and the Wellington V.F.W. Rose enjoyed camping, crocheting, traveling, spending time with friends and was a avid NASCAR racing fan.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Robert “Bob”; daughter, Sherri (Darby) Helmeck; son, James Clark; step daughters, Teresa (Robert) Hartman, Margaret (Richard) Smith, and Roberta Galant; stepsons, Anthony (Shelli) Pluta and Raymond (Angie) Pluta; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Elmer (Irene) Coder, Fred (Joyce) Coder, and Mike Dritto; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia Dritto; and a brother, Bill Dritto.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd. Avon. The Reverend Charles Diedrick, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, will officiate.
