Lucille T. Greer (nee Sieminski), 86, of Elyria, died Monday, November 12, 2012, at EMH Healthcare, following a long illness. Mrs. Greer was born in Elyria on February 11, 1926 and lived here for all of her life.
She was a data entry clerk for General Industries for 27 years, retiring in 1971. She was a member of the former Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Church’s Altar and Rosary Society, and is now a member of St. Mary Church, the United Polish Club Auxiliary, and the Elyria Democratic Women’s Club. She was very interested in the preservation of the Polish culture.
Surviving her are two step sons; five step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Greer in 1987; four sisters, Mary Gibson, Sophie Davider, and Genevive Fowler, and Anna Bittner; two brothers, Matthew Sieminski and Stanley Sieminski of Elyria.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. Closing prayers will be Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 10:30 A.M., in the funeral home, followed by Mass at 11 A.M., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria, with the Reverend Father Charles Diedrick, Pastor, as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
