Police met with the family of the girl after she contacted her parents at 2:57 a.m. Saturday to pick her up from her friend’s house at 479 Linden Ave.

The girl told her parents that she was asleep when she was awakened by Frederick, who had his hand down her shorts. The girl said Frederick was naked and she did not know what Frederick did to her while she was asleep.

A rape kit was completed on the girl and she was transferred to Mercy Regional Medical Center for evaluation. During an interview at the Nord Center, a light source showed semen stains on the girl’s shirt, face and mouth, police said.

Frederick initially denied touching the girl in a sexual way.

He said he and his daughter rented a movie from Redbox and picked up the girl at her house. The three went to McDonald’s to get ice cream cones and then to his home to watch a movie.

Frederick said he watched some of the movie and went to his bedroom upstairs where he said he masturbated. He told police he was hot so he went downstairs naked to turn the heat down by adjusting a heater behind the couch the girls were sleeping on.

Frederick said he threw water on the 11-year-old girl’s face, according to a police report, but denied touching her. When asked about possible semen found on the girl’s shirt, he said he may have had semen on his hand from masturbating earlier and may have transferred it to the girl while adjusting the heat, according to police.

Police continued questioning Frederick and he admitted to stimulating himself while touching the girl, according to the report.
