Zivka S. Nikolovska (nee Stojanovska), 86, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Life Care Center of Westlake, following a long illness. She was born October 12, 1926 in Carev Dvor, Macedonia and has been a Elyria resident since 1971.
Zivka was a member of St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church in Avon and enjoyed gardening, knitting and baking ethnic delicacies.
Survivors include her sons, Tashe (Ruza) Nickoloff and Kire (Kivca) Nickoloff both of Elyria; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Pana, Desa, and Zora, all of Buffalo, New York, and Danica of Canada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Slave Nikolovska in 1991; and a sister, Marika.
The family will receive friends Thursday (today) 4 until 7 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Friday, November 16, 2012, 11 A.M., at St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Rd., Avon. The Very Reverend Vasil Manasiev will officiate. (Please meet at church). Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
