Victim’s family sues driver, bars in fatal crash

ELYRIA — The mother of 18-year-old Andrew “A.J.” Vincent, who was killed in a 2010 drunken driving crash involving Mark Ralich, has filed suit against Ralich, his mother and two Elyria bars.

The suit filed Tuesday by Cynthia “Jean” Vincent seeks more than $25,000 in compensatory and punitive damages from Ralich, his mother Mary Lou Ralich, Wolfey’s Bistro & Pub and Chris’s Place, as well as from Nationwide Mutual Insurance.

Ralich, 23, was sentenced to seven years in prison Wednesday.

The lawsuit alleges that Mark Ralich drank an undetermined amount of alcohol the night of the crash while he was a patron at Wolfey’s and Chris’s Place.
