Alice Weber

Alice Weber (nee Myers), 84, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was born in Elyria, to the late George and Hattie (Wensink) Myers.

Alice was an extremely active person who especially enjoyed motorcycling, traveling having been on over 12 cruises and horse racing with her husband Wes. In Florida she loved Wednesday “Fun and Games,” Bingo, Water Aerobics and Sunday afternoon dinners with her fellow snow birds. In Ohio she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was a cashier at Rini Rego’s for years and she still met up with her friends for lunch on occasion. She was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan and a season ticket holder for several years. She also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Survived by her daughters, Linda (Tim) Fout (nee Urig) and Norma (Curt) Jerauld (nee Urig); step-daughter, Susan Weber; three grandchildren, Timothy J. (Patricia) Fout, Kathryn (Jason) Kuhnle and Alison (Chris) Weitzel; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley; one brother and five sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 S. Weymouth Road, Medina. Fr. Stephen Dohner will officiate. Burial will be at Granger-Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 1 to 4 P.M.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
