Ronald A. Cook

Ronald A. Cook, 64, of Elyria, left for Heaven to be with God on the morning of Thursday, November 15, 2012. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 12, 1948.

Ronald had retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 25 years of service. He also had worked at the U.S. Post Office in Columbus for nine years. Ronald attended Beyond the Walls Church in Elyria. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, history, doing surveys on the computer, watching old movies, walking the pet dog, Maggie, and spending time with his wife and family.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda Cook; three children, Eric Cook of Chicago, Clifford Cook of Harrisville, Ohio, and Christine (Roy) Stepp of Springfield; five step children, Diana (Randy) Phillips of Lorain, Rodney (Lori) Moore of Sheffield Lake, Brent (Sheila) Moore of Bay Village, Dustin (Sarah) Taylor of Lorain and Colt (Alivia) Taylor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and 28 grandchildren whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Cook; mother, Gladys Cook; and his sister, Judy Cook.

Friends may call Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at 1 P.M. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Township. Pastor Randy Phillips and Pastor Paul Grodell, will co-officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
