Sunday, Nov. 18

11:59 a.m. — 100 block Hilliard Road, reported breaking and entering of Beauty Salon. The owners of the salon said a suspect broke in using a piece of asphalt to break a window near the door. The suspect reportedly stole $15 in cash from the register. It was the second time the salon had been burglarized.

10:31 p.m. — 1600 block West River Road N., reported theft of a purse from a vehicle parked in Chipotle’s parking lot. Police said a window had been smashed and a purse, sitting on the front seat, had been taken.

3:11 p.m. — 200 block Midway Blvd., reported theft from a motor vehicle. An iPod was stolen and the vehicle’s window smashed, according to police.

Monday, Nov. 19

12:01 a.m. — 1000 block Middle Ave., a woman told police her vehicle was damaged by a BB that was shot into her back window.

3:06 a.m. — 300 block Broad St., a bartender at Bugsy’s Speakeasy said the handle of her car door was broken off while it was parked in front of the bar.

Sunday, Nov. 11

2:41 p.m. — 1000 block of Jackson St., reported vandalism to a home and a vehicle.

11:29 p.m. — 400 block of Harcourt Road, officers were sent to the area for a reported attempted suicide and found that a man in the home had an outstanding warrant for domestic violence. The man, Jack A. Brock, climbed a fence and was hiding in the backyard of the home when officers arrived. Brock was arrested and charged with obstructing official business and criminal trespass.

Monday, Nov. 12

8:57 a.m. — 300 block of Cummings Road, reported burglary of tools from a home that was being renovated. Police are investigating after collecting evidence from the scene.

Friday, Nov. 16

7:51 p.m. — Autumn Drive, a woman reported she let a person she employed several years ago into her home to dry her laundry because the woman said her dryer was broken. When the woman left, she noticed her 37-inch flat screen TV was missing and her back door was unlocked.

Saturday, Nov. 17

4:48 p.m. — 4700 block of Middle Ridge Road, a resident at Pinecrest Apartments reported she was missing a lock box containing jewelry and old coins. Police were investigating a former resident of the apartment.
