Browns lead Steelers 20-14 after 3rd quarter

CLEVELAND – The Browns regained the lead on a 15-yard Trent Richardson run with 5:19 left in the third quarter and led 20-14 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Browns capitalized on Pittsburgh’s fourth turnover, a Charlie Batch interception. Cornerback Sheldon Brown, whose pass interference at the end of the first half set up a Steelers touchdown, stepped in front of an out route to Plaxico Burress. The Browns took over at the Pittsburgh 31-yard line and needed only three plays to score.

Richardson followed fullback Alex Smith off left guard and sprinted through a good hole and arm tackles for the touchdown.

Besides their final drive of the first half, the Steelers haven’t been able to muster much on offense.
