Joe R. Quest

Joe R. Quest, 90, entered into rest peacefully, Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born November 24, 1922 in Nelsonville, Ohio.He was employed at Quality Control Fruehauf Trailer Co., Tappan Quality Control Inspection and retired in 1985 from Bay Village Schools in the Maintenance Dept. He was a Army Veteran of WWII, 37th Division, who served in both the Pacific and European theatres. He lived in Avon for 60 years and was a member of Avon Methodist Church.

Joe is survived by his wife, Carol (nee Williams); children, Cheryl (James) Roseman of Olmsted Twp., Janet (James) Smith of Williamsburg, Virgina, Hal (Lori) Quest of Madisonville, Tennessee, and Joe P. Quest (Julie Albert) of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Michael (Adrienne), Jason (Cassie), Aaron (Samantha), Amy, Adam, and Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew; sisters, Helen Junod of Santa Maria, California, and Jane (Bill) Conkle of Ontario, California; brother, Hal P. Quest of Athens; and uncle to many.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles P. Quest; and sister, Virginia Skinner.

The family will receive friends at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service and interment, along with full military honors will be private.
