Charles E. Redden

Charles E. Redden, 60, of Oberlin, passed away at his home Friday, November 30, 2012. He was born April 13, 1952 in Oberlin. He was married to his wife Amy for 23 years.

He was a graduate of Oberlin High in 1970. Charles worked in the phone industry for many years as a supervisor. He was a member of St. Mary Church in Lorain. He enjoyed travel, cooking, NASCAR, and camping.

He is survived by is wife, Amy F. Redden (nee Ferraro) of Oberlin; mother, Joyce L. Redden of Oberlin; nephews, Michael Ferraro and Joseph Huffman; nieces, Katie Ferraro Minneci, Stephanie Mayer, Marlene Huffman and Samantha Huffman; a great niece, Nina Rose Minneci.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene W. Redden; and brother, Eugene W. Redden, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin. Funeral Service will be 10 A.M., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oberlin, with Father Daniel O. Divis, of St. Mary Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Westwood Cemetery.
