ELYRIA — Accused killer Albert Fine pleaded not guilty today to aggravated murder and other charges stemming from the June 28 slaying of Catherine “Kat” Hoholski.

Fine is accused of ambushing Hoholski inside the Lorain apartment they shared and strangling her. He then allegedly dismembered her body and hid it in a storage area of their apartment complex.

Her decomposed body was found Aug. 8 after neighbors complained of the smell.

The case was assigned to Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge.
