Arwilda J. “Cleo” Graham

Arwilda J. “Cleo” Graham (nee Doverspike), 78, of North Ridgeville, formerly of Avon Lake, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 surrounded by family and friends at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. Cleo was born in Du Bois, Pennsylvania, on April 12, 1934 and graduated from Du Bois Area High School in 1952.

On August 24, 1956 she married her sweetheart, Bob Graham. She was a supervisor for PA Bell. After moving to Ohio she became a homemaker. Cleo was active with the women’s group at the Lake Shore United Methodist Church. She was always helping others and enjoyed spending time with friends, participating in church activities, walking and bike riding.

Cleo is survived by her children, Linda Yavoich (late Robert) of North Ridgeville and Sue Ann Serio (Fred) of Cleveland; brother, Elton Doverspike (late Betty) of Du Bois, Pennsylvania, Bonita Faulk (late Paul) of Butler, Pennsylvania, Verna DeWald (late Kenneth) of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Ivah Doverspike of Illinois and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert R.; parents, George and Margaret (nee Hoyt) Doverspike; sister, Blanda Slawson (late James); brothers, Creston Doverspike and Raymond Doverspike.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, from 3 to 7 P.M., Thursday, December 6, 2012. Funeral service will be 11 A.M., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 33119 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, with Reverend Nancy Manner officiating. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
