Marguerite Ingwer

Marguerite Ingwer (nee Bennett), 80, of Lorain, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain. She was born in Shinnston, West Virginia on March 21, 1932.

Marguerite received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 1950 after attending Potomac State College and Fairmont State College. She had taught third grade at Larkmoor School in Lorain for 29 years, having retired in 1984. Marguerite had been active in the Lorain Education Association and the Lorain Education Association Retired Teachers. She enjoyed boating and travel.

Survivors include her two nieces, two nephews and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ingwer in 2005; parents, Shelby and Carrie Bennett; and her sister, Kathleen Marty.

There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.

Because of their love for the Lake, contributions may be made to Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Township, OH 44035, toward the purchase of Memorial Items in Memory of “Russ” and “Marge”.
