Critter Chronicles: Daisy

DAISY

These sweet mix breed babies were born Oct. 31, shortly after mom was taken from the shelter. Their mom came from a shelter in a very rural part of southern Ohio where most dogs do not leave the shelter alive. No one really “adopts” from the shelter. Lucky for their mom a dog lover found out she was pregnant and saved her from certain death. The mom, named Daisy, gave birth to 10 beautiful puppies who all look like little Rottweilers. Daisy is some type of hound, Lab maybe Rottweiler mix herself.
The babies will be fixed, microchipped, de-wormed and given first round vaccinations and ready to go home about Dec. 27. We are accepting applications now and will set appointment with approved homes to pick out their puppy the week before Christmas.
