Mercy announces new health care program for small employers

Mercy regional healthcare system unveiled a new health care delivery model that allows small employers to become self-insured.

It’s called SelectCare by Mercy. It offers employers with 25 or more employees the opportunity to purchase employee health benefits directly from Mercy.

The program is just being launched now and will be available at the beginning of 2013.

The program was announced a press conference today at Lorain County Community College’s Spitzer Conference Center.

Mercy has partnered with University Hospitals to offer the program.
