Browns, Redskins tied after one quarter

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins traded touchdowns in the first quarter of Sunday’s game at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The Browns got on the scoreboard first when Trent Richardson scored on a 6-yard touchdown run. the score was set up when Browns cornerback Sheldon Brown tipped a Kirk Cousins pass and safety T.J. Ward ran under the ball for the interception, returning it 37 yards to the Washington 6-yard line.

The Redskins tied it when Cousins rolled out to the right on a play-action fake, then hit Leonard Hankerson for a 54-yard touchdown.
