Richard Dandrea, 61 years old, of Elyria, died suddenly Thursday, December 27, 2012, at EMH Healthcare Emergency Room. Mr. Dandrea was born December 3, 1951 in Oliphant Furnace, Pennsylvania and made his home in Elyria for most of his life.
He was a graduate of Elyria High School in 1970. He enjoyed watching all sports and working crossword puzzles.
Surviving him are a son, Jason Dandrea of Elyria; his mother, Victoria Dandrea (nee Yurchak) of Elyria; two grandsons, Logan and Noah Dandrea; one granddaughter, Autumn Dandrea; three sisters, Judith Herbert of Maryland, Toni Laffin of Avon Lake, Cindy Bias of Berlin Heights; and two brothers, Thomas A. of Elyria, and Bradly of St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dandrea.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 1 P.M.
