Lillian N. Boozer, 80, of Wakeman, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. She was born July 31, 1932 in Pennsylvania and has lived in Wakeman for the last 15 years, having moved here from the Olmsted Falls area.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Linda (John) Skrada of Wakeman, Glenda (Matt) Saksa of Greenwood, Indiana, Steve (Elizabeth “Ann”) Boozer of Wellington, Rick (Yvonne) Boozer of Wakeman, Dave (Tina) Boozer of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania and Stanley (Rhonda) Boozer of North Ridgeville; sisters, Helen (Gene) Beck of Grafton, Mary Lou (Alan) Shoaf of Maricopa, Arizona, and Nancy Thomas of North Eaton; brothers, Michael and Roger Thomas, both of North Eaton; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Boozer; her parents, Charles Beard and Nellie (Snyder) Thomas; and three sisters, Pearl, Ruby, and Patricia; and a brother, Samuel Beard.
Friends may call Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M., at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where service will be held Friday, January 4, 2013, at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
