3:15 p.m. — Factory Street, report of a reckless driver who almost struck another vehicle by driving at a high rate of speed. No one was located.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
4:45 p.m. — Public Square, a male was making threats to harm himself.
11:30 p.m. — McDonald’s, North Center Street, suspicious male walked up to the drive-through window and asked if they were open. His van ran out of gas.
Wednesday, Dec. 26
12:25 p.m. — 1000 block Wellfleet Drive, report of an arm and hand hanging out of the truck of a vehicle parked in a driveway. Upon further investigation, it was determined to be a “Santa hand.”
4:32 p.m. — 900 block Railroad St., woman locked her boyfriend out of the house.
10:28 p.m. — Main Street, suspicious group of people “dressed in black walking down Main” heading toward Family Dollar. Everything checked out OK.
Friday, Dec. 28
3:13 p.m. — Grafton Police Department, a man and his daughter arrived at the station because they were concerned with the well-being of a relative whose husband was making threats.
3:55 p.m. — State Route 57 and Grafton Road, a man called to complain against another motorist who exited his vehicle and then banged on the man’s car window telling him to “slow down” or he would harm him. He was advised to contact the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, Dec. 29
10:13 p.m. — Parsons Crossing, a woman was stumbling all over the side of the road and a couple of cars almost hit her. She was highly intoxicated and someone dropped her off on the side of the road.
Monday, Dec. 31
9:02 a.m. — Elm Street, old elementary school, doors to the school were locked, but a van was parked in the parking lot and the padlock was missing. The owner did not authorize anyone to be inside the school. The person checked out OK and was cleaning the building per orders by the real estate company.
6:38 p.m. — Reservoir Park, suspicious vehicle. The owner had pulled over and was using his cell phone.
