Stanley was a graduate of Slippery Rock University Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Education. He taught science and math at Admiral King High School in Lorain and later worked at BF Goodrich in Avon Lake as a senior chemist, retiring in 2002. He received two patents for his work in polymer technology. Stanley was an avid reader and enjoyed golf, gardening, cooking and playing pool.
He is survived by his children, Frank (Sharon) Goscewski and Kiki (Paul) Bires; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister, Marilyn (David) Connaughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Sophia Goscewski; wife, Susan Goscewski (nee Cornish); and companion, Kathey Hendershot.
Due to his love of science and research, Stanley desired to have his body donated to Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
