Mary Lizer Mabry

Mary Lizer Mabry, 83, of Elyria, answered the Master’s call Thursday, January 3, 2013 in the EMH Healthcare, following a brief illness. She was born in Wilson, Louisiana, coming to Elyria in 1954.

Mrs. Mabry was a Nurse for Elyria Methodist Village, and other various Hospital’s and Nursing Homes in Lorain County and she also did private duties. She enjoyed cooking, working in her garden, shopping and love to dress in fashion.

She is survived by her sisters, Emily Marshall, Sally Robbins, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mabry; daughter, Jane A. Mabry; parents, Aaron and Alicindia Terrell; four sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Second Baptist Church, 427 Chapman Lane (16th St.), Elyria, from 11 A.M. until time of service at 12 Noon. Rev. Carl P. Smalls will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale, Elyria.
