Monday, Jan. 7

7:30 a.m. — 600 block East Ave., woman whose name was removed from police report, same address, charged with domestic violence. The father of the woman’s child reported that she had broken into his home and fought with him over vehicles titles and the child’s birth certificate. The woman attempted to strike the man in the face, then fled the home and has not been located.

12:50 a.m. — 1000 block Barbara St., while arresting several suspects on warrants, police Officer John Davidson received a small bite from police dog Stuka. Davidson’s skin was pinched and shirtsleeve punctured.

2:52p.m. — 500 block S. Abbe Road, a man said while visiting a friend that someone had stolen the sticker from his license plate.

Sunday, Jan. 6

6:50 a.m. — 5300 block Leavitt Road, a Ford F-150 was reported stolen by the owner. The vehicle was found abandoned at the scene of an accident at 10:55 p.m. Saturday night.

7:10 a.m. — 2100 block W. 24th St., a woman told police she was flagged down at West 22nd Street and Washington Avenue by an older black man with facial hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. She said she didn’t recognize the man, so she would not roll down her windows, when the man elbowed her window, shattering it. Police could not locate the man, who was believed to have panhandled in the area.
