Eileen P. Miletzki (nee McNulty), 89, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville, following a long illness. She was born October 1, 1923 in Akron, and was an Elyria resident since 1988, coming from Parma Heights.
Eileen worked as a motel manager for Howard Johnson’s in Strongsville, for 25 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elyria, and the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W., Post 1079 in Elyria. She was a avid bowler throughout her life, and was the best mom and grandma.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Ann (Bill) Krosky of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rebecca Eileen (Chris) Toler of Elyria; grandchildren, Barry, Tony, Rick, Jeff, Krista, Connor, Samantha and Joseph; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, on December 2, 2011; daughter, Barbara Eileen Miletzki; and a grandson, Chris Albert.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Jaster, Pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Brooklyn Heights.
