She worked as a Manager at L & K Restaurant in Oberlin, volunteered at Oberlin Senior Center, and was a caretaker for many family and friends throughout the Oberlin Community. She enjoyed sewing, catering and making people laugh.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Brown, Jeannette Christian, both of Pinola Mississippi, Felisa Fenderson, LaTonya L. Fenderson, both of Lorain; son, Willie E. Hollins of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a host of stepchildren; six grandchildren; and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and other family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ichester Gayden and mother, Julia Ann Newsome; husband, James Fenderson, Jr.; and former husband, James D. Hollins.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 3 P.M., until the 4 P.M. Funeral service at House of Healing, 1414 West Ave., Elyria. Pastors James and Kemasha Knight will officiate. A private family burial will be in Westwood Cemetery.
