Critter Chronicles: Cocoa

COCOA

Rumor has it that Cocoa belonged to a homeless person who could no longer care for her or did not want to. Someone stepped in and were doing the best they could to at least keep her safe but the conditions were not good for Cocoa. Cocoa is now on her way to having the life she should. She is very affectionate, loves to give kisses and seems to be great with children. Due to her size, we would like the children to be at least 8-10 years old. Cocoa does seem OK with other dogs unless they snarl at her, and she, in turn will snarl back. A home with a submissive dog would probably be best. We have not yet cat tested her. Cocoa does appear to be housebroken. This girl had a rough start, let’s show her what life should be about. A fenced-in yard is preferred for whomever adopts or would like to foster Cocoa. She is also living in a kennel and needs to get out.
