ELYRIA — A woman who had a seizure crashed into Subway on West River Road, but according to Elyria fire Lt. Robert Atkinson, the building was not damaged.
Atkinson said the middle-aged woman was transported to EMH Elyria Medical Center after the crash. She was not responsive but did not appear to suffer any life-threatening physical injuries, Adkinson said. He did not have the woman’s name Saturday night.
Atkinson said the Subway building had very minor damage.
“There was a concrete guard barrier next to a row of gas meters, which really saved it from being more damaged,” he said.
The vehicle suffered debilitating damage and was towed.
