Mildred lived in Oberlin since 1950. She worked Data Entry at F.A.A. in Oberlin, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Sisters Of Wisdom, Negro Business and Professional Club. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, gardening, playing bingo and cards.
She is survived by her son, Ted (Patty Young) Wilson, Oberlin; daughter, Sandye Wilson Brown, of Vancouver, Washington; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Ware of Eatonville, Florida, Charlye Mae Hayward of Lansing, Michigan, three sisters; and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrain A. Brown; daughter, Karen Ann Wilson; father, Charlie Reed, and mother, Mary Jane Reed.
Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013, 10 A.M., one hour before the time of Services at 11 A.M., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Oberlin. The Reverend Fred L. Bell will officiate. Interment will be at Westwood Cemetery.
