The Indians and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announced an agreement Tuesday that will keep WTAM 1100-AM as the team’s flagship station through 2017.
WTAM 1100-AM and WKRK 92.3 –FM both made bids for the Indians’ radio rights during the season, with The Chronicle-Telegram first reporting at the end of September that WTAM, the club’s flagship station since 1998, had won the rights.
As part of the new agreement, WMMS 100.7-FM will simulcast the majority of Cleveland’s games.
The Indians also announced that they have reached a multi-year contract with Jim Rosenhaus to continue partnering with longtime play-by-play man, Tom Hamilton.
