Changes in Child Immunization Clinic Schedule to Meet Residents’ Needs & Provide Better Access to Care

To best meet the needs of Lorain County families, the Lorain County General Health District announces they will host a Child Immunization Clinic every month in Wellington; an increase from the past. “By increasing our clinic schedule in Wellington, we will protect more children from preventable diseases like whooping cough, chicken pox, and the flu,” said Lorain County General Health District Health Commissioner, David Covell, RS, MPH.

“Immunizations are a very safe and effective way to keep children healthy, which can lead to a lifetime of success,” stated Covell. “It’s also not too late to get a flu vaccine, and shots will be available at our February Immunization Clinics.”
