Brittany Kay Zappa and Jeremy Allen Draper exchanged wedding vows at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby, Ohio. The Reverend Eric Cullen and Nicholas Cunningham officiated the June 30, 2012 ceremony. Maria Zappa, sister of the bride served as Maid of Honor. Natalie Miller, Laurel Workman, Rebecca Stanic, Alison Burkhart and Lindsey Schroeder served as bridesmaids. Paige Smith was the flower girl. Josh Draper, brother of the groom and Michael Zappa, brother of the bride served as best men. Andy Hollinger, Kurt Korbas, J.D. Gibson, Ian Robinson, Owen Niese, Adam Esbenshade and Marcus Zappa served as ushers. Owen Schlater along with Parker Smith and Caleb Schlater were ring bearers. A reception was held at Mid-Ohio Conference Center, Mansfield.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Shelby High School and a 2010 graduate of Akron University with a Masters degree in speech and language pathology. She is currently employed with P.T. Services as a therapist, Tiffin.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Willard High School and graduated from North Central State College, Police Academy and Criminal Justice. He is employed as a Detective with the Willard Police Department.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Darlene Zappa of Shelby, Ohio; and granddaughter of Mary Zappa of Amherst and Kenneth Heiden of Wellington and the late Richard Zappa and Jeanette Heiden.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Ruth Draper of Willard, Ohio; and grandson of Catherine Deppen of Willard and the late Burton Deppen of Willard; and Henry and Florence Draper of Monroeville.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, and reside in Willard.
