Adaline E. Bottomlee (Borer), 87, of Clarksfield, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 17, 2013, after a lengthy illness. She was born September 16, 1925, to the late Joseph and Emma (Knott) Borer.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Clarksfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Emma Bottomlee, of Clarksfield, with whom she made her home, Patricia (Terry) Woolledge, of Statesville, North Carolina, Linda Bottomlee, of Willard; sons, Ralph (Karen) Borer, of North Lima, Jim Bottomlee, of Clarksfield, John (Becky) Bottomlee, of Norwalk, Joseph (Jennifer) Bottomlee, of New London; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Paul L. Bottomlee in 1991; her children, Karen Shamel, in 1953, Faith Urbansky in 1982, Karl Shamel, in 1984; grandchildren, Casey Nichols, in 1990, Michael Borer, in 1970, and Chris Ackerman, in 2004; sisters, Geraldine, and Georgia Mae; and brothers, Cornelius, Edward, Arthur, Ralph, Cyril, Jerome, and Gerard Borer.
Friends may call Wednesday February 20, 2013, from 4 to 8 P.M., at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
