Alice K. Klocek (nee Scott), 73, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange, following a short illness. She was born October 16, 1939 in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Alice enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren, collecting, old movies and opera music.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Keffer (Gary) of LaGrange, Linda Fincham (Joseph) of LaGrange; son, George Klocek (Mary) of LaGrange, additional survivors include four grandchildren, one great grandchild; three brothers, Tom Scott of LaGrange, Richard Scott (Ann) of Elyria, Gene Scott (Judy) of Wellington.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John J.; son, James P.; and her parents, Frank C. and Jessie F. (nee Rodgers) Scott; and a brother, Frank (Joann).
Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, 440-322-4626, where funeral service will be at 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, will officiate. Burial will be at River Road in LaGrange.
