Chris “Spotsie” Speroff, 90, of Amherst, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, in Lorain, following a short illness. He was born March 14, 1922, in Amherst, to the late Naum and Sevda Speroff, and was a lifelong resident of Amherst.
Mr. Speroff was a self employed electrician. He enjoyed dancing, dining out, and traveling.
He is survived by his nephews, Leon (Sen) Speroff of Portland, Oregon, and Ted (Colleen) Speroff of Nashville, Tennessee; a niece, Geraldine (Tom) Gruic of Akron.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by; brothers, Vasil (the late Theresa), and Steve (the late Helen) Speroff; and a nephew, Steve Speroff, Jr.
There will be a Memorial Gathering at the Dragon Ranch at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst. Cremation provided by Cromco Services, Elyria.
