Marilyn D. Green-Arnold “Pudden”, 52, of East Cleveland, went home peacefully Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the Manor Care Rehabilitation Center in Cleveland, following a long illness. She was born July 26, 1960 in Ripley, Tennessee. Before moving to Elyria, she then moved to East Cleveland, making that her resident for over 35 years.
Mrs. Green-Arnold was employed as a licensed Certified Nurse Assistant for 15 years for a variety of nursing home in Cleveland and Westlake. She enjoyed puzzles, cooking and making her family and friends laugh.
She is survived by her husband of three years, Herbert Arnold; daughter, Genella Taylor of Elyria; step son, Carl Arnold III of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Joyce Mason of Huntsville, Alabama, Frances (Craig) West of Elyria; brothers, Melvin Parker, James Green, Keenan Green, Bennie Green, all of Cleveland and Michael Martin of Chicago, Illinois; two special cousins, Cherisse and Karen; aunt, Minnie Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by son, Kevin Green; and her parents, James and Frances Green.
Friends may call Friday, March 8, 2013 from 10 A.M. until time of service at 12 Noon in the Bethany B.C., 334 17th Street, Elyria. Rev. Dr. J. Howard Timmons, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
