Critter Chronicles: Pixie

Pixie was adopted out by us as a puppy and was with a family for close to a year. They recently returned her to us stating she would chew things. We believe this is a case of a high energy dog who was not given the opportunity to release that energy and so she found her own way of releasing it, by chewing. Pixie is a very smart girl who gets along with other dogs and cats. She does play a little rough with the dogs but is not aggressive. She will need a caregiver who is willing to exercise her daily and will give her basic training. She would make an excellent jogging partner. Pixie would do best with a fenced in yard to also burn off some of her energy that way. She is house-trained and with someone willing to make an effort, she will make an awesome best friend.
