ELYRIA — The driver of a Ford F-150 was critically injured after an 8:30 p.m. crash Thursday with a Toyota Camry at the intersection of state Route 57 and Taylor Street.
The man was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, according to Herb de la Porte, vice president of LifeCare ambulance.
De la Porte said the driver of the Camry received non-life-threatening injuries. His wife was seriously injured and flown to Metro.
Police said they would release the victims’ identities on Friday, and the crash remained under investigation.
The intersection of the roads was blocked off at 10 p.m.
