Kimberly K. Glauner (nee Horn), 50, lost her fight with Leukemia on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Born in Berea, Kim attended Columbia and North Ridgeville schools. She graduated from Bryan & Stratton Business College in 1992.
Most recently she was employed at the Elyria Moose Lodge and C. Mulligan’s Pub in North Ridgeville. Kim was a dart enthusiast and competed twice in the International Team Tournament in Las Vegas. She embraced adventures with her friends, especially a group vacation in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Despite her aversion to flying she enjoyed visiting Europe, Mexico and the Bahamas. What Kim enjoyed most of all, was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
Kim is survived by her husband of 24 years, Les; daughter, Kristyn Squires (Chris); sons, Jason Maslin, Eric Glauner (Dave) and Adam Glauner (Brandy); five grandchildren, Deven and Abi Daniels, Anthony Squires, Clayton and Kayli Glauner; brother, Rod (June); and step father, John Skoda. Sadly, she did not meet her sixth grandchild, who is due in June. She also had extended family in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Nebraska.
She was preceded in the death by her parents, Sheri Skoda and Alan Horn; as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Christian memorial service will be held Saturday, April, 13, 2013, at 11 A.M., at the Elyria Moose Lodge Hall, 555 Ternes Ave., Elyria.
