She was born November 30, 1948 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. She loved being a mother and grandmother and also enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts and word search puzzles.
Judy is survived by daughters, Frances Brown and Christine Eastman, both of Sandusky; Linda (Leo) Speer of Nancy, Kentucky and Jamie Diewald of Nashua, Iowa; 18 grandchildren; sister, Janet Diewald of Elyria; aunts; a niece, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Diewald (nee Crowley) in 1978; father, Leroy Diewald in 2001; brothers, David Diewald in 1982 and Larry Diewald in 1999; daughter, Judith Thomas in 1998; and grandson, Aaron Eastman in 1995.
A memorial service will be Thursday, March 21, 2013, 1:30 P.M., at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Reverend Robert Gross, Pastor of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ, will officiate.
