Elyria man suspected in Speedway robbery added to Dangerous Dozen list

Farris

An Elyria man suspected of aggravated robbery has been added to the U.S. Marshals’ “Dangerous Dozen” most-wanted list for March.

Charles Farris is wanted following a robbery in November at the Speedway on Lorain Road in Elyria. His charges include aggravated robbery, parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender. Farris also has a long history of violent crimes, according to Marshals.

Also added to the list this month is Adrian Wright, an Akron-area fugitive wanted for robbery. Wright has a long history of violent crimes as well.

According to Marshals, all of the fugitives on the Dangerous Dozen list should be considered dangerous individuals and should not be approached by the general public. If anyone has information concerning the location of these fugitives, they are encouraged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force toll free at (866) 4WANTED or text keyword WANTED and your tip to TIP411 (847411). Tipsters may remain anonymous and cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest of any of these fugitives.

Since the inception of the Dangerous Dozen program in May 2010, the task force has apprehended or closed 98 of the 108 fugitives profiled on this list. Of the 98 apprehended, 56 were a direct result of the exposure from the media and assistance of the public.
