Highway Patrol Elyria post reports 32 OVI arrests over past two weeks

The Elyria Post of The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the following OVI arrests over the past two weeks in Lorain County:

  • Jasmine Hawthorne, 24, Lorain – Refused BAC Test
  • Hannah Barbee, 20, Elyria – Refused BAC Test (operating a vehicle after underage consumption)
  • Gerica Newson, 19, Elyria – Tested .078 BAC (operating a vehicle after underage consumption)
  • Firas Almukdad, 18, Elyria – Tested .077 BAC (operating a vehicle after underage consumption)
  • Marlis Moon, 36, Elyria – Refused BAC Test
  • Emily R. Young, 22, Elyria – Tested .109 BAC
  • Tracy Hough, 27, Avon – Urine test, results pending
  • Glenn Miller, 58, Lorain – Refused BAC test
  • Kylee M. Lowder, 25, Lorain – Refused BAC test
  • Gregory A. Gossett II, 22, Lorain – Tested .149 BAC
  • Victor Tavarez Jr, 22, Lorain – Urine test, results pending
  • Kristen A. Irion, 39, Parma Hts – Tested .128 BAC

This brings the year to date total OVI arrests to 141 reported by the Elyria Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. As of March 18, the Ohio State Highway Patrol has made 4,867 statewide OVI arrests in 2013.
