The suit was filed against Richardson, his brother Terrell, his girlfriend and two other women for an incident Dec. 10.
Attorney Leif B. Christman, who represents Krystal Jones and Kathleen Hunter, supplied a copy of the lawsuit he said he filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court to the Plain Dealer.
The complaint claims Trent Richardson slammed his fist on the hood of Jones’ vehicle in the driveway because he was upset they slammed a door in his house. The complaint says the plaintiffs were invited to his home following a Dec. 9 celebration at a nightclub after the Browns beat the Chiefs, and that $1,500 damage was done to the vehicle.
The lawsuit claims Richardson prevented Jones and Hunter from leaving, then commanded his girlfriend, Sevina Fatu, and the two unnamed women to assault Jones and Hunter. The plaintiffs claim they suffered injuries to their faces and bodies, and mental distress.
