Critter Chronicles: Benji

BENJI

Benji was given up by his caregiver’s after the elderly mother went into a nursing home and their dogs would not accept another dog. Benji does know a few basic commands and will be an ideal dog with a strong leader. He is also house-trained. It appears Benji has maybe led a sheltered life and he is leery of large groups of new people. Benji needs someone who is willing to give him the space to feel comfortable in a new environment. Obedience training would be a great avenue to bond with Benji and he does seem very willing to please. Benji does get along with other dogs. At this time we are not sure about cats and any kids we would like to be older since he is a little insecure. This handsome boy would love a fenced in yard to play in and will need a daily walk to keep him from becoming bored as he is still a young dog.
