Jeanette A. Davis (nee Williams), 82, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, following a brief illness. She was born January 28, 1931 in Naugawne, Michigan and was an Elyria resident for most of her life.
Jeanette was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Elyria and enjoyed playing bingo, her pet cats, bird watching and was a avid NASCAR racing and Cleveland Indians baseball fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Tom) Fedor of Eutawville, South Carolina; sons, Michael (Diana) Davis and Scott (Rondra) Davis, both of Elyria; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Isabel Rollins of Douglasville, Georgia and Doreen Grimminck of Grand Haven, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terrance Davis; grandson, Christian Davis; and brothers, Lloyd and Francis Williams.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 10:30 A.M., until the time of services at 12:30 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Reverend Chuck Behrens, Chaplain of Hospice of the Western Reserve, will officiate. Burial will be private.
