Janice R. Pease (nee Bochholt), 66, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, after a sudden illness. She was born June 3, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 16 years after moving from Whitehall, Michigan.
Janice was a devoted mother and grandmother, recently finding an outlet for her caring and outgoing personality as a trainer at Curves in Vermilion.
She was a devout Christian, attended Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion, and was an associate member of the VFW Post #7576. Janice was a true Patriot, with an incredible allegiance to our great country. She enjoyed different artistic endeavors whether it was landscaping, “creating”, or decorating for the holidays.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Orrin Pease of Vermilion; sons, Mike (Heather) Pease of Vermilion, Dan (Melissa) Pease of Saginaw, Michigan, and Dave (Stephanie) Pease of Clarkston, Michigan; daughter, Leslie (Scott) Desloover of Vermilion; grandchildren, Kevin, Melissa, Desiree, Jacob, Spencer, Sawyer and Stella; great grandchild, Westyn; and sister, Sharron Lieberg of Westminster, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Oma (nee Dewey) Bochholt.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 19, 2013 from 3 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 6 P.M. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Cliff Morris will officiate.
